Emerald Lakes
Recreation & Attractions
At Emerald Lakes we have an Entertainment District anchored by a 10 acre Crystal Lagoons® with public and private beach recreational activities, over 500 acres of preserved conservation areas with 10 miles of nature trails, wildlife corridors and Multi-use Paths, 25 miles of sidewalks, 265 acres lakes and plenty of open space to enjoy Brevard County’s native wildlife and fauna species.
From the Canaveral National Seashore at the north of the county to Sebastian Inlet State Park at the southern tip of the county, there are miles and miles of sandy beaches for recreation. The parks and recreation departments of Brevard County and various municipalities, along with private business concerns, operate recreational facilities such as golf courses, racquetball courts, ball fields, skateboard parks, an ice-skating rink, beach and lake-side parks.
Baseball enthusiants can enjoy the USSSA Space Coast Complex, an 8,100 capacity stadium, with two stadium fields and HD video boards, five NCAA Baseball-approved fields and five NCAA Softball-approved fields. Former home of the Florida Marlins and Washington Nationals Spring Training, the Pride Stadium is home to the USSSA Pride of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league.
The cultural calendar on the Space Coast is jam packed with outdoor events, festivals, art shows and musical programs every weekend.
Brevard County is a major tourist destination with attractions that include the Brevard Zoo, Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Space Coast Stadium, and Patrick Air Force Base (PAFB)
